GLASS

What I hate most
is the silent scream.
A glass house
we all live in
decades of
non-verbal incommunication
seeing all
say nothing.
Say something
and someone will break
into a million pieces
or roar
so loud
that the house
becomes shredded shards
glittering in the light
of mutual realization
of what they already knew.
we get so involved in
picking up the pieces
of dis-reality
we forget about
the truth
never mind
that we become
what we don't acknowledge
with
no resolution to
what we choose
not to see.
the clock is ticking.
Life is a temporary currency.
How much
do we spend
living a lie?
