MEETING DAVID WILSON

I applaud David Wilson for having the courage to bring a long needed discussion about slavery and race and the impact it had and continues to have on us today, to the table and appreciate the attempt at dialogue about the subject.  Perhaps it would have carried through in a more authentic way, had MSNBC included everyday people in the post-documentary dialogue, rather than pulling in the usual pundits, who took the conversation from discussing race in this country to solving the "black problem". For those who missed this important documentary, no matter your ethnic background, you should make every effort to sit down with your family and watch it.  Then have a conversation about it.  I saw that there is a website  for the documentary, www.meetingdavidwilson.com   you should go there to find out how to access the film.
